  1. Thank you Stephanie but it's not her Birthday! she has been a bit down the last couple of weeks, I thought this might help cheer her up.

  2. Wow, your Mummy is so elegant, I love her style, if only I would look like her when I am seventy - heck, if only I looked like her now!! xx

  3. Not sure if your mum is even aware that she is striking the classic pose of back foot angled, front foot forward or if it just comes naturally to her, I bet she even knows how to alight from a car gracefully.
Well Dash, despite the fact that I would not recognize you if you ran me over in your vintage car, I do know where your appreciation of style and elegance comes from.
Tell your mum that NYC is sending her love.

  5. I hope that I can manage to look that elegant when I'm seventy. And your mum is a wonderful example of age not being a barrier to style, grace or beauty.

I would love to look as good at 70...she must be making a lot of healthy lifestyle choices...look at her skin it's radiant!
I could learn a lot from her...maybe she'd care to share some tips?

  9. Thank you for all your lovely comments, Mum is in fact 75, oh dear will be in big trouble now! She does have fabulous skin, she puts this down to cleansing, toning and moisturising and the fact that there is not much sun in Yorkshire!

  12. She looks a bit like Anna Magnani in the first photo, no offense intended as I always thought she was stunning
